Celebrated Actor and Jazz Vocalist TC Carson to Perform at St. James Live! for birthday celebration






Two time NAACP Image Award nominee TC Carson will be celebrating his upcoming birthday in concert at St. James Live! in Atlanta, GA on Thursday, November 14, 2019. The concert, titled “TC 2.0: A Night of Jazz and Celebration with TC Carson”, is the second birthday celebration he has had at the venue. According to Carson, “TC.2.0 is my second show at St James Live! and it represents a new chapter for me— a switch in direction with a focus on creating the music that speaks to my heart and soul.”  In this performance, Carson will also have special guest performances from Chandra Currelley (Madea’s Big Happy Family), Doc Powell (Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist), S. Renee Clark (world renowned jazz vocalist), King Leo Bakari (hip hop lyricist) Khari Cabral Simmons (world-renowned bassist) and more. Attendees can expect to hear a wide range of music including standards like “Dindi” and “Midnight Sun”, pop classics like “Stronger than Pride” and “Inner City Blues”, as well as his take on current radio hits like “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar. About TC Carson:
TC Carson is a jazz vocalist, voiceover artist and actor who is best known for his portrayal of the debonair Kyle Barker on the hit sitcom Living SingleTC’s 5-year stint on the show earned him two NAACP Image award nominations for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series”. No stranger to the big screen, some of his movie credits include the military thriller U-571Final Destination 2, Living Large and Gang Related
In 2017 Carson fans were ecstatic to see him return to television in a reoccurring role in the OWN Network’s hit series Greenleaf. This year fans were also able to see him even more as he made appearances on CW’s Black LighteningStar on FOX, ABC’s Nashville and BET’s The Quad. In 2018, he also made a cameo appearance in the box office feature film Uncle Drew and was seen this holiday season in TV One’s newest original movie Coins for Christmas. This year, he was both the lead in an independent film, Bricked, and was a regular role in Bounce’s newest comedy series, Last Call
Carson is also an accomplished voiceover artist. He served as the voice of Kratos in the God of War video game series, one of the top selling video games of all time, as well as Mace Windu in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series, and as the Shaman Tensi in Far Cry Primal. One may also recognize his voice as the “voice of god” narrating award shows such as The BET Honors. 
Carson began his entertainment career on the stage appearing in numerous theatrical productions including The WizHairDreamgirls and Ain’t Misbehavin’. Mr. Carson also performed in two original pieces written for him including, The Golden Fruit, an African Urban adaptation of the Pied Piper, as well as Blackberry Daze. 

Above all, Carson’s number one passion remains to be his music. He has released two independent solo albums: Live In Beverly Hills and Truth, along with his one of a kind rendition of the jazz standard “My Funny Valentine.” All are available now on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Spotify. He is currently working on his next album which is slated to be released in 2020.
