Claudette Robinson of The Miracles pens children's book about a Motown adventure

Most will know Claudette Robinson not only as the former Mrs Smokey Robinson; she is also known as the First Lady of Motown after she delivered hits as part of The Miracles during her tenure with the group.

Now, Claudette adds author to her list of accomplishments. This year is the 60th anniversary of Motown and it’s only fitting that Claudette will team up with AK Morris to pen a children’s book about Motown.

Claudette Robinson
The book is called “Claudette’s Miraculous Motown Adventure” and it follows little  Claudette who lives in the magic Kingdom of Motown. Containing 42 pages, the rhyming book is written in a very comfortable style that children would understand and enjoy.

In time for Halloween, readers of this book will encounter the menacing wicked witch who flew in to Motown to cause havoc with an evil spell.
Claudette stumbled on a way to get rid of the witch and break the curse she put on the Kingdom of Motown. Will her plan work?

The book also features colorful illustrations on each page by Pamela C. Rice. There are references to The Miracles the King Berry character seems to be referencing Berry Gordy, who declared Claudette as the “First Lady of Motown.”

Parents who grew up in the Motown era will also take delight in reading this book to their kids. It is truly a great read for all and we hope that Claudette has more miraculous adventures to come!
Claudette’s Miraculous Motown Adventure is available at Amazon.com and where books are sold.

Win a copy of the book for your child if you are the first person to guess the answer to this question. Berry Gordy signed the Miracles to his Tamla/Motown Records.
