Ed Maina is touted as a multi-woodwind musician, and he has
finally packaged his work on his debut project entitled “In the Company of
Brothers”, a CD that showcases his original music on everything from Pop to
Latin, Jazz, Smooth Jazz and Funk.
As part of his smooth jazz offering, we are playing the
catchy single “This is the Moment.”
This single boast of having a fresh beat with a rocking edgy
guitar, well-rounded sax and finger-snapping melody.
Before working on the CD, Ed spent his time honing his
skills playing alongside musicians including Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole and Maynard
Ferguson to name a few. According to Ed, the CD took 13 years to complete; the
result is a compilation of music that comes from his heart. Hear new music and
