Sol Republic's Relay In-Ear Headphones make the perfect holiday gift

If you are looking for that perfect gift for the music lover in your friendship or family circle, you should definitely check out the new audio gadgets from Sol Republic. Sol Republic is a company that is always at the pinnacle of technology and their Relay In-Ear Headphones and Punk Speakers are big on style and versatility.

After trying these two products, it became apparent that Sol Republic had taken a good look at all the existing problems people were having with their listening devices and came up with devices that solve them all.

I have to admit that I have never been a fan of in-ear phones or ear-buds. Not only is the sound quality one of the poorest out there; the struggle to keep it in your ear as you listen to your favorite song can be challenging.

So with all these preconceived notions, I opened my Relays which was packaged in a small box about 5 inches; the perfect size for stocking stuffers.  Sol Republic has this knack for the sleek, trendy and modern design and the Relays was no exception.

The phones were neatly wrapped with the earpieces snapped securely along the side of the box. The top face of the box holds four different sizes of ear tips. This makes it easier for you to choose the one that has the perfect fit.  There is also a small carrying case inside for easy storage or taking your music with you.

The in-ear phones have a universal fit and thanks to the free-flex technology  and once you insert them in your ear, they actually stay there.  Even more they are dust, water and sweat-resistant as well and would be the perfect company for your morning jog, an evening on the treadmill or for use while traveling home. The earpieces are also very discreet once inserted and the soft padding of the ear tips makes it very gentle on the ear for hours of listening pleasure.

Relays were particularly design for your iPod, iPhone and iPad but I was able to stream it quite nicely through my Samsung.

The audio quality is extremely high and as you listen to your music you can hear that underlying bass-line which is usually non-existent on others brands on the market.

I also turned the volume up a little and the sound remained crisp and clear void of distortion or that in-ear tickle that you get with other in-ear phones.

The retail price of the Relays is $79.99 and so worth it! The company sent me a black set however there are other colors available including white, horizontal blue and lemon white.

Keep reading my blog to find out how you can win one of these great products this week!

Check back tomorrow for a review of the Punk Wireless Speakers.
