West Coast Fletch releases the mood-stirring "Salvation" single

Jazz guitarist West Coast Fletch Brinson has recently released the single "Salvation" from his upcoming CD which will be released soon. The smooth jazz track which is currently enjoying power rotation on Jazz Moods Radio is described one that draws you in to an enchanting place where a touch of Spanish haze awash you with sheer exuberance.

Indeed, West Coast Fletch knew he wanted to be a musician ever since he was a child growing up in South Central, Los Angeles. He tells the story of being in 5th grade and being offered a music program which was designed to keep kids out of trouble. Fletch remembered wanting to learn to play the trumpet; he was given the trombone instead.

At the age of 13, Fletch's parents gift him his first guitar. It was only fitting that he would learn the guitar since his late father also played this instrument in his heyday and sang in quartets as well.
Even at that age, Fletch had the ability to memorize music; he was able to play by ear for random soloists at his church as well.

Fletch's influences include Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Parliament-Funkadelic, George Benson and Norman Brown and a few gospel artists as well.

Fletch's new CD will feature everything from smooth jazz, to rock, gospel and R&B elements. Stay tuned for more information about Fletch's upcoming CD. In the meantime, pick up Fletch's  new single available HERE:
