Connecticut's Airborne releases "Autumn Love"

One of the more consistent and hardworking jazz group to come out of New Haven, Connecticut, Airborne has released a new single just in time for the autumn season. The track is aptly titled "Autumn Love", a bluesy and jazzy track that is the perfect companion for enjoying warm evenings indoors with family and friends. The track is also the perfect preamble to Christmas; the subtle tambourine sounds mimic the sound of bells and can leave great anticipation for this special holiday.

It was Airborne's intent to capture the shades of the fall foliage in their song. The wonderful array of bright shades of red, gold, auburn and green is represented by the feeling of happiness that the single brings. In a world where life can throw you many curve-balls, this track serves as the perfect distraction that everyone needs; there is a "promise of hope" element to it.

As a multi-cultural and veteran jazz group in the business since 1988, Airborne has written, recorded and produced countless CDs which has garnered extensive airplay both locally and internationally. Their mission is to keep the message of hope alive in their music; no wonder they are referred as the "musical peacemakers" of contemporary jazz. In fact, the group was awarded a Merit of Honor by the World Peace Organization for Excellence in World Music and as humanitarians. Proving that what they do goes even further than the jazz music that they play, Airborne also has a non-profit organization that helps to fight against hunger proceeds from CD sales go to purchasing food for the poor.
