Funky guitar riffs joyously lock arms with Jarez's fluid saxophone notes at the beginning of the track launching into a cool summery vibe that will serve as a great companion for cross-country drives.
As fans have learned, Jarez’s music is anything but smooth jazz fluff; he keeps it contemporary with bursts of hip-hop that is good enough for both the young and old listeners.
Just as Tiger Woods opened up golf to a diverse fan base, Jarez desires to “bring the gift of jazz to an audience not typically familiar with it, and yet have them embrace and welcome it.”
His “On Top of the World” CD has also captured the attention of toastmasters and reviewers including Terri Scott aka the Jazz Queen who admits to being a big fan of Jarez's music. Radio personality Lynn Briggs also commented that Jarez is "going places."
The music video that accompanies the "Can't Let Go" single stars rapper Coolio who Jarez plays and tours with. In the video, Jarez seeks help from Coolio to search for his lost girlfriend. The guys jam to the grooves along the way until they get to a house; Jarez kicks the door down and the rest you would have to see for yourself how it all ends.
