Give a gift of holiday music from Tim Warfield

The holidays are in the air; can you feel it? This year is even more special for me because I was able to launch my own jazz radio station called Jazz Moods Radio which can be found  here

We have already started our holiday broadcast with a string of talented jazz musicians giving their personal treatment to some holiday favorites.
Check us out if you can and please spread the word! We are also mixing holiday jazz with a few new jams as well.

Speaking about holiday Jazz, you need to pick up a copy of sax player Tim Warfield's Jazzy Christmas. The CD has already been touted by the New York Times as a holiday favorite in their gift guide section.

On this compilation Tim is spreading holiday cheer with his CD which showcases a collection of traditional holiday songs in a variety of moods. Joining Tim on this musical affair is the likes of trumpeter Terrell Stafford, vibraphonist Stefon Harris, pianist Cyrus Chestnut, bassist Rodney Whitaker and more.

The CD features timeless songs like "Let it Snow", "Joy to the World" "Silent Night" and a bonus Hanukkah song. How's that for originality huh?

A bit about Tim, he is no stranger to the business; in fact he has shared the stage with musicians such as bassist Christian McBride, trumpeter Nicholas Payton and Shirley Scott.

In 2006 he became a member of the Terell Stafford Quintet.

Tim will be touring soon commencing with an appearance at the Mary D'Angelo Performing Arts, in Center Erie PA on December 13. Showtime is 8pm.  He will also appear at the La Rose Jazz Club in Philadelphia PA at 7pm on December 14.

After taking a short break, Tim will have appearances on December 21 at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center, York PA at 7.30pm and on December 22, expect to see him at the Patterson Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. His performance will start at 5pm.
