Indulge in Fifteen Shades of Blue Jazz; coming November 12

On November 12, Justin Time Records will release a compilation called Fifteen Shades of Blue Jazz

The CD will feature some of the well-known names in the jazz industry, all in one place giving you a variety of musical styles geared to satisfy your appetite for straight-ahead jazz.

I got to tell you, I am excited about this CD because it features some of my personal jazz favorites like Diana Krall, Carmen Lundy;  Oliver Jones and Oscar Peterson are here, so too are Taurey Butler and Carol Welsman.

Expect to hear Diana Krall with a captivating perform of "This Can't Be Love" and Hank Jones on "Because I Love You".

You'll be charmed by the subtle vocal styles of Angela Galuppo from the jazz/pop band St. Ange and sway to Carol Welsman's "Hold Me."

Swing out to Fraser MacPherson’s ”You Took Advantage Of Me,” sink into Ranee Lee’s lovely rendition of “When A Woman Loves A Man,” Brian Hughes’ oh so smooth “Promise You,” and the great Johnny O’Neal asks “Why Try To Change Me Now?”

Also featured are stellar performances by the world renowned Rob McConnell Tentet, celebrated vocalists Carmen Lundy and Susie Arioli and pianists extraordinaire Taurey Butler and Paul Bley. This is one tantalizing compilation that is sure to please.
